A Class Sound is a Birmingham based sync licensing company that supplies music to TV shows, advertising, digital content and more. I was hired for branding/logo creation, to build the businesses website and, as the business was in its early stage, I also provided some ad hoc business consultancy to assist the owner in the development of the project including overall direction/vision for the business, how to set up a limited company and more. I implemented the project management software Asana to increase productivity and ensure the project was structured, organised and managed effectively. I recommended the website be built on WordPress as this would give us more flexibility and customisation, including features such as a dynamic audio player, contact forms, user logins and more - all of which improved functionality and user experience.
The business owner came to me with some ideas for their logo, but after doing some competitor analysis I felt this particular style of logo could hurt the brand's image and reputation. I put forward some alternative ideas and the final design is the logo you see below - professional, modern, and more aligned with the businesses target audience and core message.
In order to create a solid digital presence, it was crucial that the website was not only visually appealing but functional, organised and easy to use. The WordPress website has a number of customised features installed to ensure a unique website that provides a great user experience and is optimised for conversions. Designing in this way also allows for easy scalability - customised websites typically accept a larger volume of traffic, are more flexible and have a longer lifespan which is vital for anyone serious about growing their business.

The custom filters were designed to organise the music catalogue, and make it easier for customers to find what they need. I also added mood categories to the main page which gives the user a 15 second preview of a track. This gives users an alternative way to search for the kind of sounds they want. By providing a better user experience we can increase conversion rates, increase customer satisfaction and maximise ROI.
I implemented the Sonaar Music plugin to the website which is a highly customisable music player. This feature allows for continuous playback, call-to-action buttons, and allows users to purchase music directly through the site - all of which are there to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
